AFCEA EDUCATION FOUNDATION

The Chapter operates in support of AFCEA, an international organization that serves its members by providing a forum for the ethical exchange of information. AFCEA is dedicated to increasing knowledge through the exploration of issues relevant to its members in information technology, communications, and electronics for the defense, homeland security and intelligence communities. The Education Foundation sponsors scholarships and grants in support of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
The Education Foundation supports the following:
- ROTC Scholarships - award 22 scholarships to cadets/midshipmen at 21 New England area detachments - $33,000
- Fellowship Awards Program - award 23 internships and scholarships to high school graduating seniors majoring in STEM - $34,500
- Award 5 high school graduating seniors in support of Innovation in Technology - $10,000
