The Navigation Center has launched the Stability Starts Here: Crisis Response Fund to support families and children experiencing urgent crises such as housing instability, utility shutoffs, medical emergencies, and financial hardship.
This initiative was created in partnership with Charleston County School District, which awarded funding to assist with emergency needs. While this support helps prevent immediate hardship, no funding was provided for the case management and care coordination needed to help individuals and families move forward.
At The Navigation Center, we go beyond the crisis. Our team works to uncover and address the underlying root causes—whether it's untreated trauma, chronic illness, lack of access to care, or barriers to stable employment or housing. Through this person-centered approach, we provide not just financial help, but housing support, social work, mental health and medical care, and long-term stability planning.
Together, we can restore stability and dignity—one family, one person at a time.
