YOU Can Help an ANIMAL SHELTER DOG Become a HERO!
by PAWSITIVITY SERVICE DOGS FOR VETERANSDo you have a rescue dog who "rescued you?"
Help us I s special project to RESCUE A DOG and then train this special pup to be a SERVICE DOG for someone with a severe disability.
The vision of Pawsitivity Service Dogs is to work with dog rescue organizations and no-kill dog shelters across the country to rescue dogs from animal shelters, foster and help rehabilitate them back to good health, and then providing the highest-quality trained assistance dogs for families and teachers in need with highly individualized lifetime support for each dog/handler team. Ultimately, we hope to offset the cost for those clients who need assistance with the fundraising process. While Pawsitivity Service Dogs usually focuses on Labrador Retrievers and Golden Retrievers and mixes of both because these dogs tend to have the traits needed for service dog work, we are open to all breeds and have trained a wide variety of dog breeds. We are located in the Twin Cities, MN metro area, but have worked with no-kill rescuer groups from Minnesota, Wisconsin, New York, Virginia, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Michigan, and California to adopt unwanted dogs. We like to work with adult dogs rather than puppies because not only is it difficult to determine the future energy level of a puppy, but also, we are strongly committed to no-kill dog adoption. Pawsitivity Service Dogs is a Minnesota 501(c)(3) organization (EIN #47-1446634) and your donation is 100% tax deductible. Pawsitivity Service Dogs is proud to have met the Charities Review Council's Accountability Standards. The goal of Pawsitivity Service Dogs is to design and implement all we do with transparency to those we serve and those who generously make our work possible.
Help rescue a dog who will be rehabilitated, trained, and outfitted to be a Service Dog who will have a rich, fulfilling life helping a person with disabilities!
