Since the inception of The End Hunger in Our Community (EHIOC) Campaign in 2016, RLF has provided thousands of grocery bags to Veterans, Elderly and Homeless persons within our community. Now a yearly event, the RLF has a goal of providing as many bags as five hundred Bags to those in our community who struggle with food insecurity, as well a providing outreach to help connect those persons with necessary resources within the area through various partnerships.
EHIOC is a crucial initiative in addressing food insecurity in our community, as it provides immediate relief to individuals within vulnerable populations. This direct support not only alleviates hunger but also reduces the stress and anxiety associated with food scarcity, allowing recipients to focus on other essential aspects of their lives, such as employment and education.
