Heart-J Center offers hands-on learning for all ages in the foothills west of Loveland, Colorado, with the 3000-acre Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch serving as an inspiring outdoor classroom and living laboratory. Heart-J Center's program themes include science and nature, history and archeology, agriculture and conservation, outdoor skills, wellness, and the creative arts. Programs include from outdoor education field trips for K-12 school groups, research expeditions for college students, creativity and wellness retreats for veterans, and art classes for adults. Though the offerings and audiences are varied, the common theme is that every field trip, workshop, and retreat makes use of Sylvan Dale's natural setting and rich history.
