VCAS enriches the lives of veterans, military families and dogs through the many benefits of the human-animal bond. VCAS does this by placing rescue dogs with veterans whose lives can be changed, even saved, by the physical, mental and emotional health benefits a dog provides. In addition, VCAS offers professional dog training classes for veterans that already own a dog and an active alumni program to continue needed camaraderie and support.
