SERGEANT SITTERS ANIMAL DISASTER RELIEF

"Founded in August 2014 at the doorstep of Fort Bragg: The legendary heart of the U.S. Airborne and Special Operations communities. Sergeant Sitters Animal Disaster Relief (SSADR) was forged within the nation's largest and most active military installation. This 12-year legacy in North Carolina serves as the foundation for our current strategic expansion to Texas to develop 'SSG Sitter’s Sanctuary.

We operate at the vital intersection of veteran wellness and emergency animal welfare. Our work extends beyond disaster response to the daily support of our veteran's most trusted allies: their dogs. We provide essential resources for service dogs, canine-assisted healing, and the rescue and rehabilitation of animals in high-risk zones. By maintaining a specialized focus on canine wellness, we ensure the bond between the veteran and their dog remains unbroken, even in the harshest conditions.

Our current flagship mission is the development of 'SSG Sitter’s Sanctuary' in Texas. This premier, 50-80 acre facility is designed as a high-capacity logistics hub for animal supply distribution during national disasters, coupled with a 'Chateau-style' retreat for veterans. By leveraging the unique skills of those who have served, we provide a renewed sense of mission through equine-assisted therapy and purposeful service. SSADR ensures that in times of crisis, no animal is left behind and no veteran is left without a community."
