Help Us Launch a Legacy of Accessibility, Healing, and Honor.
The Freedom Floater and Patriot-toon are more than a pontoon, they will be a sanctuary on water. Fully ADA accessible, it opens lake days, fishing trips, and scenic tours to all veterans, including those in wheelchairs. As part of The Heroes Center’s Vet 2 Vet mission, it fosters connection, healing, and shared purpose. Onboard, veterans find peace, peer support, and the kind of conversations that restore hope, one ripple at a time.
Thanks to generous early support
We’ve raised $6,000 thanks to the HP Elks Lodge #1155 and begun renovations. The boats are now docked at Nautical Threads, where they will undergo a full winter overhaul. But to complete this transformation by March 2026, we need your help.
Join Us. Build the Freedom Floater.
This is more than a renovation. It’s a movement. A promise that no veteran, regardless of ability, will be left behind when it comes to peace, recreation, and connection.
Our Goal: $11,000–$20,000
To finish the job, we must purchase:
A new engine for safe, reliable cruising.
Modern electronics for navigation, communication, and accessibility.
Trolling motors to support fishing excursions and maneuverability.
And the inevitable odds and ends, from wiring and safety gear to seating and signage, that every boat project demands.
Your Impact Will Be Seen and Felt
Corporate sponsors will have their logo permanently featured on the boat’s custom wrap, a visible tribute to your commitment to veterans.
Individual donors of $100 or more can submit a handwritten message that will be printed on the wrap, surrounding veterans with words of encouragement, gratitude, and love from the community.
Donate today. Leave your mark. Float freedom forward.
Every dollar brings us closer to launch. Every message reminds a veteran they are seen, valued, and supported.
