PEACHTREE RIDGE ROBOTICS BOOSTER CLUB

Mission: The Robo Lions Robotics Team exists to inspire students to appreciate and pursue an interest in science and technology. The partnership of students and mentors allow the team to share and apply knowledge of STEM, leadership and business skills through fun and hands-on experiences. As a team, members work toward a common goal of designing, building, marketing, and operating a competitive robot in a business-like environment while supporting the ideals of FIRST.
The PRHS Robo Lions, under the oversight of our booster club, is a student-inspired, mentor-advised organization. Our veteran students are placed in roles of leadership where they are responsible for managing meetings, mentoring new students, planning and carrying out preparations for competitions which includes each step of the design, build, programming and marketing processes of a 120lb. robot.
We encourage student understanding and skill development by providing
real-world extensions to the school-related curriculum. We continue to
develop and implement activities and projects that align with the standards
and concepts of FIRST.
