We are in a signed contract to purchase a beautiful 170-acre tract in Meridian, Mississippi in full by February 22, 2029. This new location will allow us to continue our mission to Heal the Hidden Wounds of War. We offer weekend retreats and other outdoor activities at no cost to our service members. This is our newest and 4th location. We are a small 501c3.
With this property we will be able to offer a safe place for our service men and women to go to start the healing process. We believe that nature has a natural healing power. Each month we will host a small group of veterans for the weekend. They will have the opportunity to fish or kayak in the lake, take a ride or hike on the trails, we provide home cooked meals, other activities are available such as skeet shooting or horseback riding (off site). Our retreats provide a space for our veterans to interact with those that have experienced the same things as they have. We want to be a place of healing and calm for them.
We are only able to continue our mission and offer our programs at no cost to our service members through fundraising and sponsorships. We appreciate every single one of you for your consideration and your support.
