Happy Holidays/Giving Tuesday- Support The Children Yemen, Asia OP

by OPULENT PHILANTHROPY INC

Opulent Philanthropy Inc, (OP)----The children in war-torn Yemen are up against severe malnutrition, desperate poverty and the most devastating impacts of COVID-19. In Taiz city alone, 47 schools were “totally destroyed in the fighting. Children certainly didn't start the war in Yemen, but they’re paying the highest price with their lives and their futures. Years of conflict have made Yemen the world’s largest humanitarian crisis and that was before the pandemic. Now as COVID-19 spreads rapidly, the country's health system threatens to collapse completely, leaving children with nothing.
More than 12 million children are in need of humanitarian assistance. In addition to COVID-19, disease outbreaks are a constant threat and more than 2 million children under the age of 5 experience malnutrition.
Children have been without adequate nutrition, safe water or access to basic healthcare throughout six years of war and, with schools destroyed and made unsafe, millions of children were out of school even before the pandemic.
The war has killed tens of thousands of people, mostly civilians, and resulted in what the UN has described as the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.
Some 3.3 million people have been displaced from their homes and 24 million, or more than 80 percent of the population, are in need of aid
We call on the whole world and the business community to save the children.
