Survivors Helping Survivors: Connects people who have lived through past traumas, veteran status, or first responder experiences with active disaster victims to help facilitate mutual healing.Disaster Trauma Awareness: Educates affected individuals on recognizing and coping with psychological trauma after a catastrophe.Grassroots Organizing: Teaches impacted communities how to organize locally so recovery resources match actual local needs.Micro-Grants & Self-Sufficiency: Connects grassroots advocacy groups with a nonprofit CPA and funds to secure 501(c)(3) certification for independent fundraising.Strike Force Deployments: Sends teams composed of first responders, trauma survivors, and community organizers directly into hard-hit disaster zones.

United Survivors Disaster Relief (USDR) is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer charity organization headquartered in Toms River, New Jersey, that provides peer-led disaster recovery support and community rebuilding.
