The Veterans Phalanx Organization, Inc. is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving veterans, service members, families, and the surrounding community.
Our mission is to stand beside veterans through every challenge — amplifying their voices, connecting them with the help they deserve, and building a lasting community where service and camaraderie continue beyond the uniform.
The Veterans Phalanx was built on the belief that no veteran should face life after service alone. We work to create steady, practical points of connection through advocacy, community support, service opportunities, suicide prevention education, and resource navigation.
Our programs include Standing Watch, a free community suicide prevention education campaign focused on veterans and service members. Standing Watch helps community members recognize possible warning signs, ask direct and compassionate questions, stay present when someone may be struggling, and connect that person to appropriate support. It is not clinical counseling or crisis response; it is practical community education designed to strengthen the people around veterans and service members.
Through Shoulder to Shoulder, we help veterans navigate life after service by providing peer-based support, VA navigation, benefits paperwork guidance, employment assistance, transition conversations, and connection to trusted resources.
Through Next Objective: Homefront, we support elder veterans, disabled veterans, surviving spouses, and isolated veterans through practical service projects, disaster preparedness, resource connection, and community-based follow-up.
Through Continuing Service and Team Mess Hall, we create recurring opportunities for veterans and community members to serve side by side, including volunteer service projects that turn connection into action.
The Muster provides relaxed community gatherings where veterans, service members, families, and supporters can build relationships outside formal systems. These gatherings help fight isolation and rebuild the sense of camaraderie many veterans miss after leaving the military.
The Veterans Phalanx also develops guides, articles, and resource materials to help veterans and families better understand available benefits, services, and support options.
Every part of our work is grounded in dignity, credibility, service, and connection. Contributions help us provide free training, print and distribute resource materials, support volunteer service projects, expand community outreach, and build stronger local networks around veterans and service members.
The Veterans Phalanx exists to make sure veterans are seen, supported, and connected — not as charity cases, but as valued members of a community that still has a place for them.
The line holds when no one stands alone.
