auerPower Veterans Empowerment Alliance is a veteran-founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering veterans and their families by removing barriers to mental health care through community partnerships and financial support. Founded by Marine Corps veteran David Sauer, SPVEA was created in response to the growing need for timely, affordable, trauma-informed mental health services for veterans who often face long wait times, high out-of-pocket costs, limited provider access, and the stigma of asking for help.

SPVEA works to connect veterans and their family members with qualified community-based mental health providers while helping cover the cost of care for those who are uninsured, underinsured, low-income, or unable to access timely services through existing systems. Our Mental Health Access Program is designed to provide financial assistance for counseling and therapy services, support family stability, reduce crisis escalation, and ensure veterans do not have to face mental health challenges alone.

Serving veterans and families throughout Arizona’s East Valley, SPVEA believes that healing should not be delayed by cost, paperwork, or waitlists. Through donor support, grants, business partnerships, and community fundraising, SPVEA helps bridge the gap between veterans in need and the care they deserve. Our mission is simple: Empowering strength, restoring hope, and ensuring no veteran or family is left waiting for help.
