Who UAP supports:
Our service members take an oath that states: “I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

Our Constitution explicitly protects the Rights of every individual American citizen.
Whether it be free speech, protection from unwarranted searches and seizures, due process, impartial and fair trials, or excessive punishment, the Constitution is the defining document that separates American citizens from the rest of the world. It’s the founding accord that has produced the greatest country on the face of the Earth. Many have served, and some have died protecting it and the associated lives, liberty, and pursuit of happiness of hundreds of millions both at home and abroad.
The implicit presumption made by our service members, while performing heroic, selfless, and, at times, near-miraculous acts of valor to uphold their oath to our Constitution, is that they will be afforded its benefits.

Unfortunately, all too often, that is not the case.

We at United American Patriots review far too many cases where Warrior's Rights have been violated, and honorable service members face wrongful accusations of "war crimes," which lead to unjust convictions.

What UAP does to support our Nation’s Warriors:
A. UAP positively advocates on behalf of our Nation's Warriors to enhance public perceptions, raise awareness, and generate support for our Nation’s Warriors and their families and for our Constitutional Rights
B. UAP funds legal defense teams to preserve our Nation's Warriors' rights and to defend against wrongful accusations & convictions of "war crimes" or cases of demonstrated Unlawful Command Influence (UCI) and prosecutorial misconduct.
C. UAP provides support for transitioning warriors to assist with reintegration into our civilian society and to offset the challenges associated with the accusations made against them or their convictions.

How UAP Supports our Nation’s Warriors:

UAP supports the execution of three main elements of our mission through generous individual contributions to our “Warrior Fund.” These contributions are generated primarily through our relationships with professional fundraising partners and are used as follows:

1. IMPLEMENTATION OF INSIGHTFUL COMMUNICATION
UAP leverages all means of communication to raise public awareness - verbal, written, and visual. UAP supports public speaking engagements, presentations, and panel discussions; interacts with Presidential staff, Senators, Congressmen, and their staff on Capitol Hill; interviews with TV, cable, radio, and print news media; generates digital and social media via www.uap.org, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.; crafts letters and press releases; and designs visual presentations and information graphics.

2. SPONSORSHIP OF HIGHLY DEDICATED TEAMS
UAP pays for fees and associated expenses for our Nation's Warriors to have the best, highly dedicated teams of attorneys, investigators, experts, graphic artists, and consultants:

A. TO PRESERVE RIGHTS: UAP’s funded teams fight to preserve our Nation’s Warriors Rights and address any unlawful command influence (UCI) or prosecutorial misconduct when in contact with military justice authorities. This occurs according to, and/or during, any military tribunal, violations of any military member’s right to a fair and honest investigation, trial and/or administrative separation, and subsequent efforts to update military records.

B. TO DEFEND AGAINST WRONGFUL ACCUSATIONS & CONVICTIONS: UAP strives to provide our Nation’s Warriors the best possible legal representation during investigations, pretrial hearings, courts-martial, separation boards, clemency boards, appeals, habeas corpus, executive commutation, clemency, and Presidential Pardons.

3. FINANCING INDIVIDUAL’S NEEDS: UAP provides practical support for transitioning warriors to assist with reintegration into our civilian society. Since each individual’s situation is unique, those Warriors who have been unjustly accused or convicted of committing crimes in combat, i.e., “War Crimes,” can request support to assist with, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Counseling, mentorship, and networking
2. Training and educating
3. Health care
4. Legal support
5. Upgrades of military records
6. Access to veterans’ benefits

For those Warriors who are unjustly imprisoned, UAP supports the reintegration process and finances individual needs even before they are released. Incarcerated Warriors can request support to assist with, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Travel expenses for visitation from loved ones
2. Stipend to help with family needs and individual needs (Bills, Phone calls, Books and magazines, Stamps, Stationery, Etc.)

UAP’s Impact:

Since 2005, UAP has supported dozens of our Nation’s Warriors who have served in some of the most intense combat from Afghanistan to Iraq and challenged their wrongful accusations or convictions of “War Crimes.” Most significantly, with UAP’s support, our Warriors have had:
- Charges Dismissed
- Sentences Reduced
- Convictions Overturned
- Discharges Upgraded
- Convictions Appealed
- Presidential Pardons Coordinated
- Legal Fees & Expenses Covered
- Transition Issues Addressed

It is significant to note, unlike the high rate of recidivism for civilians who have been released or who have had charges dismissed, not one of the Warriors UAP has supported has ever been charged with another crime since their initial charges or since being released from prison.

In 2019 UAP was involved in and helped with the realization of the following:
- President Trump granting Pardons to US Military Personnel (1LT Behenna, 1LT Lorance, MAJ Golsteyn)
- Charges dropped against five Navy SEALS (LT Portier, LT Webb, CPO Silva, CPO Swarts, PO1 D’Ambrosio)
- Parole granted to two Warriors (SGT Miller, 1SG Hatley)
- Discharge upgraded for one Warrior (SPC Wagnon)
- Creation of the “Justice for Warriors” Congressional Caucus
