The Northwest Minnesota Foundation is a community foundation serving 12 counties in northwestern Minnesota. We host and partner with approximately 400 funds in Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard, Kittson, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake and Roseau counties. Our mission is to invest resources, facilitate collaboration and promote philanthropy to make the region a better place to live and work. The Northwest Minnesota Foundation holds funds and hosts projects in counties and communities across northwestern Minnesota. Twelve counties and dozens of communities are served through the work of NMF and the funds we hold. Currently, the Benevity causes portal has been primarily used by donors from Microsoft and Polaris, giving to projects in the communities of Warren and Roseau, Minnesota.
