We provide funding, donations, and services to those in need through our support of charities such as Leader Dogs for the Blind, Penrickton Center for Blind Children, Madonna’s Hearing program, Beaumont’s Silent Children program, Eversight, Project Kidsight, Lions of Michigan Foundation, Lions of Michigan All State Band, Lions Bear Lake Camp, Lions Hearing Center of Michigan, Youth Soccer League, Play Place Autism Center, Wigs for Kids, and Susie Q’s Kids.
We Have:
Provided eyesight awareness services and assistance
Conducted hearing evaluations and assistance
Sent kids to therapy programs
Enabled kids with challenges to attend and experience camp
Provided All State Band program kids with a chance to travel the world
Supported our local youth groups and school programs
Sponsored youth soccer league on our premises
Helped kids in programs with autism, diabetes, and cancer
Sent kids to band camp and offered scholarships
Conducted blood drives to support Red Cross initiatives
Operated our Mints for Military program
Distributed food and clothing to those in need
Provided day services for autistic kids
Supported wigs for kids with cancer
Provided Susie Q’s Kids comfort bags to kids in need within the community
We collect and repurpose used eyeglasses and hearing aids to extend beyond our local community making a global difference. Donations are appreciated and accepted at our hall.
We have donation boxes located around town to collect funding for our initiatives and to sell mints supporting our “Mints for Veterans” initiative. We are committed to those who serve or served our country.
As a United Way 211 participant, we offer an array of assistance wherever possible to those in need in our community, another way we serve.
