Mission: The Support Brigade helps veterans, service members, and their families secure the benefits they earned and build the skills for what comes next.
Vision: To empower and educate veterans and their families during their careers, through the transition to civilian life, and into retirement.
Who we are: A veteran founded and veteran led 501(c)(3) based in Orlando, Florida. Our founder is a retired U.S. Army Colonel with 26 years of service and three combat tours. We are a member in good standing of the Florida Association of Veteran Owned Businesses (FAVOB).
What we do:
1. VA Claims Support
The VA system has its own language. We are the Rosetta Stone between the veteran and the VA. Through a VA accredited claims agent, we help veterans prepare and file disability claims at no cost, and we run pre-claim readiness workshops that teach veterans the VA process and vocabulary before they file.
2. Scholarships
Scholarships for service members, veterans, spouses, children, and ROTC and JROTC students.
3. Technology and Digital Skills Training
Practical training that prepares veterans and family members for today's workforce, from core digital skills to modern technology tools.
Heroes for Heroes
At every ballpark and stadium we visit, we bring veterans and their children a jersey of their favorite team or player, along with a personal thank you for their service.
