The fencing that provides the horses a safe space to turnout, roam, forage, and frolic is in dire need of repair. Because the fence is compromised, space has been limited for the horses to enjoy, sessions to take place, and grazing to happen. This unfortunate circumstance has led to a decrease in program scheduling, limited ability to maintain pastures, and a general increase in restlessness in our herd.
In addition to replacing the current fencing, we would like to add an additional double-fence along the outer limits in order to protect the herd and our visitors from any unwanted or accidental incidents which pose a risk.
In order to help offset the costs of replacement and fundraise for the additions, we have developed the Adopt-A-Fencepost Campaign! For a donation of $250, BSR will emboss twoc customized dog-tags to be attached to a fencepost along the pasture. For $100, BSR will provide one dog-tog toa fencepost. We also allow the option of a donation in any amount in order to support the fencing project!
