Give a Dog a Home Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, founded on February 14, 2011, dedicated to saving dogs from kill shelters throughout the South, transporting them to Maine where they are cared for in a kennel while awaiting adoption. The organization also runs several community programs to support pets and people, including the Feed the Need Pet Pantry, Preserve and Provide Program, Let's Go for a Walk Doggy Day Out Program, and the Humans and Hounds Social Club.
