Sports and Camaraderie for Older Adults in Indiana

We are the official senior games for the state of Indiana and the only member of the National Senior Games. The Indiana State Games mission is to provide older adults the opportunity to engage in competitive and recreational sporting events as well as enhance the quality of life through fellowship and socialization in a safe and enjoyable environment to gain, maintain, or enhance an active lifestyle. Our vision is to impact thousands of persons in the community by decreasing depression, loneliness, and healthcare costs; in turn by increasing longevity of life, a sense of accomplishment, and daily active living opportunities.
The Indiana State Games annually hosts events for persons age 50+ to compete in choice of 25 sporting events by gender, sport, and five year age increments: 50-54, 55-59, etc. Participants compete recreationally and competitively for Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals. We are the only qualifying site in Indiana for advancement into the National Senior Games.

Our community benefits by having the opportunity to continue to strive for healthy living for active aging. The majority of our focus is to reach older adults, however because of our community outreach, we also offer 250+ volunteers of all ages the opportunity to help and support health and wellness to the older adult population.
