Deployed service members endure extreme isolation, stress, and the hardships of being far from home. Many lack access to basic comforts—a snack from home, hygiene essentials, or even a simple letter—small gestures that can make a world of difference. Our care packages do more than provide necessities; they deliver hope, gratitude, and a powerful reminder that their sacrifices are not forgotten.
Every day, thousands of troops stand on the front lines, giving up comfort, safety, and time with their families to defend our freedom. Yet, too often, they feel invisible. Morale fades, PTSD takes hold, and tragically, 22 veterans lose their lives to suicide daily. That’s why Operation America Standing in Support steps in where support is needed most.
Each year, we send six morale-boosting care packages to deployed troops, letting them know America stands with them. But our mission doesn’t stop there. When they return home, we provide welcome celebrations and recreational activities, helping them transition back to civilian life—because their service doesn’t end when deployment does, and neither should our support.
The funding from this grant will support our care package events, which are designed to bring essential comfort and morale to deployed service members worldwide. Specifically, the funds will be allocated to:
• Purchase Supplies: We will buy vital items such as snacks, personal hygiene products, socks, toiletries, and entertainment materials to help service members feel connected and cared for.
• Ship Packages: This grant will also cover the cost of shipping these packages to military bases across the globe, ensuring they arrive in a timely manner and reach the troops who need them most.
We sincerely appreciate your consideration of donating to our cause. With your support, Operation America Standing In Support can continue sending care packages that provide comfort and remind our troops that they are appreciated. Your contribution will have a direct, lasting impact on the well-being of service members deployed overseas, showing them, they are never forgotten.
