Planned Butterfly Garden & Sculpture Area
At Oak Harbor Cottages, we dream of creating a butterfly garden and sculpture area to bring beauty, peace, and hope to families staying at our emergency shelter. This special space will be designed to help children and parents feel truly welcome from the moment they arrive.
The garden will feature vibrant flowers and plants that attract butterflies — a powerful symbol of healing, transformation, and new beginnings. Winding pathways and cozy seating areas will offer families quiet places to reflect, rest, and connect.
To make the space extra meaningful, whimsical statues and art pieces will be placed throughout the garden. These will inspire joy and spark imagination for children, while also serving as uplifting reminders of hope and resilience for adults.
Our goal is to create more than just a garden — we want to build a safe, welcoming environment where families can play, heal, and begin rebuilding their lives.
