TEXAS GARDEN CLUBS INC
BROWNWOOD, Texas
Our mission is to save and faithfully defend from waste the natural resources of our country, the air, soils and minerals; its forests, wild flowers, water and wildlife.
We serve our community monthly through various service projects. We maintain the flower beds at the Camp Bowie Veterans Memorial and are helping with the Greenleaf Cemetery Wildflower Project. We donate funds from our annual plant sale to Good Samaritan Ministries, Salvation Army, Boys and Girls Club of Brownwood, the ARK Women's Shelter and give a scholarship to a high school senior of Brown County majoring in agriculture or gardening related fields. We also have outreach projects at over ten nursing homes in Brown County during Christmas and Valentines.
We are currently raising funds to build a Gold Star Memorial flowerbed, bench and memorial plaque at the Camp Bowie Veterans Memorial.
