Snake River Animal Shelter is a non-profit no-kill animal rescue supporting animals in the East Idaho region.

Our mission is to improve and save animal lives by promoting quality care and compassion through adoption and humane education in the East Idaho Region. We aim to create and maintain an environment where neglected animals can be temporarily housed, treated, and placed in caring, permanent homes. We are committed to expanding the humanitarian efforts in our region by creating groundbreaking programs to educate the community on the care and treatment. Through our addition of the Idaho K9 Academy we are able to help animals with behavior issues to stay in homes as well as a lot of work in training service animals for those with special needs and as companion animals for veterans.
