Karen's Club empowers cancer patients of color to engage with clinical trials that can save or extend their lives. Born out of Robin Hood Foundation's Blue Ridge Innovation lab, it is named for Co-Founder and Chief Patient Advocate Karen Peterson, who fought her way into a life-saving clinical trial over numerous obstacles. Through peer support and building direct connections between patients and researchers, Karen's Club addresses the gaps in trust and education that have kept communities of color from benefiting from medical research for generations.
