Providing Unique Solutions for Each Individual
Since its inception in 1936, Easterseals NH has played an important role in the lives of disadvantaged individuals and families living in New Hampshire. Every community has vulnerable populations of low-income and at-risk residents, including people with disabilities or special needs, immigrants and refugees, frail seniors, homeless veterans and others living on the fringes of society. Without organizations like Easterseals NH, the issues related to marginalized citizens would only deepen and impact the community at large. Easterseals NH’s comprehensive array of services touch the lives of 25,000 individuals annually providing supports across the lifespan to alleviate hardship. We help young children through our Early Supports & Services program, and our Child Development Centers and Family Resource Center. We assist adults with disabilities through our Community Based Services and Workforce Development program. We help veterans suffering from the visible and invisible wounds of war through Military & Veterans Services Care Coordination. Additionally, Veterans Count offers emergency financial assistance to support service members, veterans and their families through challenging times. Easterseals Farnum Center offers treatment to individuals challenged by substance abuse. We assist seniors as they age through a variety of Senior Services. Easterseals NH maintains a focus on filling local service gaps whenever possible. We believe that with the right supports all people can succeed to their potential and experience well-being.
Making a Difference
Last year, Easter Seals NH served more than 25,000 individuals of all ages and provided in excess of $7.3 million in free and reduced-price services to children, adults and seniors who otherwise could not afford them. We spend 90 cents of every dollar on direct services, (95 cents for Veterans Count). Your donation will go a long way to help change lives.
